There are several ways to reduce depression: Getting into routine and setting goals are a good starting point since depression can easily put someone off track of their schedule. A double edge solution is eating healthy, the reason behind this wording is because a balanced diet can lift one's mood and make someone feel fulfilled in a literal sense. A suggestion of good foods include salmon or tuna, which contains omega-3 acid, and greens such as spinach and avocado, which has folic acid. Depression can be a real nuisance, but that shouldn’t prevent one from their responsibilities. If anything, responsibilities should be preserved and encouraged because the way one should see it, fulfilling said responsibilities can bring a sense of accomplishment. Challenging negative thoughts can be a good suggestion because it's easy to assume the worst when in most cases, such as feeling neglected by people. We don’t need the whole world to love us, just the people who are the closest to us. Ultimately, do something spontaneous or fun. It’s never fun to feel like living in a cycle and whether the change of one daily routine is minimal or substantial, it can truly give anyone a boost on one’s moral
