I don't know if being a scientist fits me because I have worked as a researcher for more than 5 years but both my bachelor and master thesis didn't go smoothly and I faced many problems in my job as well. Therefore, now I suspect that wether I chose the wrong career.

nothing wrong with your career path or you yourself. Your true value and light might have just not yet have been discovered by others. As for the job, I dunno because I'm an undergratuated students of chemistry and wished to be a good scientist. I know life won't just run smoothly as I want, but I hope to be treated as equal as I'm trying to be good to other people and my surroundings. never stop to be a good person, pleased yourself, then the closesct next, without concern about randoms. I know you may achieve something bigger in the future, so cheer up and I wish anything best for you!
