I think I am always narcissistic. Cause I don't think i am caring about others feeling or emotions. I am being selfish these days. When something goes wrong i act as a victim. The fact that I am knowing all these actions is more questionable. Am I really having NPD?

Hey, first off—it takes a lot of self-awareness to even notice these patterns in yourself, so give yourself some credit for that. The fact that you're questioning your own behavior is actually a pretty strong sign you might not have full-blown NPD. You know, a lot of us go through phases where we’re more self-focused than usual—maybe because of stress, insecurity, or just life getting overwhelming. It doesn’t automatically mean you’re a narcissist. Think about it: if you were truly incapable of caring about others, would you be worried about it right now? What might help is paying attention to small moments. Next time you catch yourself reacting in a way that feels selfish or like playing the victim, pause and ask: “What’s really going on here? Am I scared? Feeling unseen?” Sometimes those reactions are just old habits or defense mechanisms kicking in. If this is bothering you, talking to a therapist could really help sort it out. They can help you understand where these behaviors come from and how to shift them—if that’s what you want. You’re already asking the right questions, and that’s a solid place to start.
