Should Voters approve Prop 27?

Voters must decide whether to approve mobile sport betting in the 2022 election. Sport gambling as a whole is illegal in California with the exceptions of Indian tribes, horse tracks, and card rooms. Considering that California has the 5th world's largest economy, companies such as FanKings and DuelKings want to tap into a potential goldmine of consumers. Proponents include major sport-backers who argue not only will Native tribes benefit from their share of the revenue but a good portion of the money will be allocated to fight homelessness. Opponents include Most Native American tribes, who prefer sport betting via retail only. The California Teachers Union and the California Democratic Party also oppose the prop.
